Energy use per person
All the energy a country uses per person, in kilograms of oil equivalent.
Energy use is a country's primary energy supply, the energy in the fuels it produces and imports minus exports and stock changes, divided by its population. It covers electricity, heating, transport and industry together, in kilograms of oil equivalent: the energy in one kilogram of crude oil, about 11.6 kilowatt-hours. The International Energy Agency (IEA) compiles the energy balances, and the World Bank republishes the per-person figures.
